Congratulations to Matt LaRosh
Matt was down at the Current River (just above Tan Vat)in March when he caught this beauty.
Matt shares his story "It was quite the reward for having patience, let me tell you.... Just prior to catching this beauty, I got caught up on a tree overhanging the stream, which I decided to climb up and get. On the way down, after successfully saving my prized prince nymph, I caught my waders on barbed wire that for some reason was around the base of the tree. Nice! So I sat on the bank and repaired my waders for 30 minutes. No more than 5 minutes after being back in the water I tight lined this one! Played him on the 9' 6wt Lefty Pro from Yager's Fly Shop. It was picture perfect and went a long way to calming the trout blues and rekindling the fire at the same time! It will be a pleasant memory and a good story!"
If you look close, you can see that Matt is wearing a Yager's fleece vest.
