This solid quarter sawn white oak tray is completely hand crafted using arts and crafts furniture building methods. Each tray is hand created by a local Lawrence, Kansas furniture maker and he uses a technique from the early 1900's to seal the wood and create a polished look. These tying trays are built to last and are considered a heritage item.
Brad's tying tray includes the following:
13 1/2" wide by 6 1/2" deep
3/4" solid quarter sawn white oak
22 Oak posts 3" long so you can stack 2 spools of thread on each one
5 large bottle holes
4 small bottle holes
2 bead or hook routed insets 4" x 1 1/2"
1 bead or hook routed inset with 1" diameter
Vise stem holder with large lock down knob
12 small tool holes
5 larger tool holes
