  Dinsmores Tin - Cushioned Egg Shot
 These black or green colored weights are designed in the new weight forward system. They are made from cushioned Tin, which gives you high-tech performance without the toxicity of lead.
This newly designed removable split shot has a divot to locate the thumbnail to open the shot. Unlike the old style removable shot with ears, the new design will not cause line spin, hang-ups or slow down the sink rate.
Flycasting is much better using Dinsmores Egg Shot because the thin end is pulled by the flyline causing much less drag and the heavier end helps turn over at the end of each stroke, stopping the hinge effect caused by round shot.
The Weight Forward Egg design penetrates the water surface tension better than a round shot and causes less splash when landing. This is very important in the smaller shot sizes and for sensitive subsurface fishing & nymphing.
