Skip's Original Turn-On Strike Indicators are the best we have found because they are easy to see and they stay locked on. Bivisible Turn-On's are designed to assist in detecting strikes in any water conditions with glare or shadows. Install the indicator with the color toward you which best contrasts the lighting conditions on the water.
One full turn and it won't come off, but will slip on the leader when needed. Two or three turns and t won't slip. When you are through fishing just rotate in the opposite direction, remove, and store away for the next time needed.
